It is with great sadness that we acknowledge the passing of Jim MacPherson on May 11th., 2025.  Jim has been a member and staunch supporter of the APRM for many, many years.  He was acclaimed as an APRM Executive member, Director-at-Large, at our 2025 spring AGM.  Jim’s contirbution to Metchosin on so many fronts is well known and appreciated by all.  He will long be remembered for his caring and helpful involvement on multipe levels including an analytical and watchful eye on municipal finances.

 

Representatives of the APRM were able to meet with Jim on his last day on this earth.  Jim greeted this meeting with tears in his eyes and much gratitude.  Our collective thoughts and condolences go out to Jim’s wife Kathleen, who was the constant “wind under his wings”.

 

Gone from us, but not forgotten.
