Homer Dixon

The APRM is currently arranging for Homer Dixon to give another presentation in the fall of 2025.

On March 14th, (2023?) the APRM had the distinct pleasure of hosting Thomas (‘Tad’) Homer-Dixon at an inaugural meeting in our newly refurbished Old School Gym.  As expected, it was well attended -140 participants, including APRM members and other interested parties within the community.

Recognizing that many of our members were not able to physically attend Tad’s presentation, and in response to the high level of interest in this event, APRM made the investment of video-recording the presentation for subsequent viewing and distribution.

Please note that Homer-Dixon’s talk is now accessible from the home page of APRM’s website: https://www.metchosinaprm.org (This video is no longer available. To see other videos of Homer Dixon speaking, go to Youtube and type in his name.)

Please feel free to share this link with friends and family.  We at APRM are very proud to provide this service to you and suspect that your response will be much like what we repeatedly heard from attendees … “Excellent … Riveting … Fabulous!”

Enjoy!

Chris Moehr,

President, APRM

Post-script: It has been brought to my attention that although I referenced the action taken in helping APRM secure the presence of our featured quest speaker, I failed to mention that individual’s name.  It is Morgan Yates of the Metchosin Foundation … many, many thanks Morgan.
