Rick Worrall – President

My original career was as a mariner, working internationally, on all 3 coasts, and including B. C. waters. Working as captain since 1981. In 2000, I became a nautical instructor at Camosun College and I will be retiring this June.

In 1978 I purchased my upland property in Metchosin and moved on to my land, off the grid, in 1980. After Metchosin incorporated, I became active in following the workings of our local government. This includes being a commissioner on the Metchosin Uplands planning commission and the Board of Variance. I have been a member of several other social and environment organization.

I look forward to meeting you and hearing what concerns you have with regard to protecting Metchosin’s rural environment and lifestyle.
